Here's a photo of us with the wonderful remembrance poppies we made, with special messages to the fallen soldiers. The poppies will be taken to a ANZAC service and laid on the memorial to show our appreciation of the sacrifices that soldiers make for our futures.

A man who lives on the tenth floor takes the elevator down to the first floor every morning and goes to work. In the evening, when he comes back; on a rainy day, or if there are other people in the elevator, he goes to his floor directly. Otherwise, he goes to the seventh floor and walks up three flights of stairs to his apartment. Can you explain why?

This week we have been creating some wonderful art to retell the myth of Maui and the Sun, but there was a catch! In keeping with our big idea of sustainability, we had to paint our pictures using sustainable things that we had brought from, things that could be reused or things that would have otherwise been thrown away. We brought in things like old toothbrushes, cotton buds and old cardboard. Have a look at the photos below to see use making our art creations.
